Youth Development and Community Engagement

Youth Development and Community Engagement

Youth programs work within families, schools, communities, and changing social conditions. DREF helps organizations design initiatives that connect young people's wellbeing with leadership, participation, and practical opportunity.

We support the development of youth programs, learning sessions, community consultations, and engagement strategies. The work should account for age, language, access to technology, educational opportunity, and the resources available locally.

This service suits NGOs, schools, youth organizations, foundations, and development partners. Dr. Ezui brings experience in community mental health education and youth empowerment through his leadership of NASM-AFRIQUE in Togo.

Possible deliverables include a youth program framework, consultation plan, workshop materials, community engagement approach, or recommendations for improving an existing initiative.

Where participants are minors, the project should define appropriate consent, safeguarding, and referral arrangements. These requirements belong in the delivery plan and should reflect the setting.
